Prescription Drug Assistance Program

MedData Services Prescription Assistance Program is a web-based program that provides health care entities and their qualified (low income and uninsured) patients the information needed to apply for free medications. Through a contractual arrangement with MedData, the Alliance has purchased 10 program licenses which enable our free clinics and other non profit health care organizations to assist clients in obtaining needed medications.

Prescription Distribution Statistics
Through the MedData Program our ten partner agencies have provided over $500,000 worth of free drugs for over 700 patients of all ages with the majority of prescriptions provided for treating childhood- related illnesses including antibiotics for ear infections and medications to treat asthma-related episodes. Please note that the dollar figure indicated does not adequately capture the total amount of free medications provided because this only reflects initial prescriptions and not refills.
