All organizations stand to benefit from an improved health care system.

Building the capacity of the County’s free clinics, along of course with the broader system, means that persons will be served in a more efficient and appropriate manner; this would translate into reduced hospital and emergency room utilization.

Volunteer physicians (through Project Access) will see more indigent patients, providing more timely care, and thus avoiding more expensive interventions.  And persons will find it easier to enroll in public assistance programs, such as Medicaid and Health Care District, and establish a medical home (through the Prosperity Campaign and the HCAP grant).
